GEM Switzerland was proud to participate in the 2025/26 GEM Global Report Launch and Annual General Meeting, held from 25–28 February 2026 at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico.
The Swiss delegation was represented by Prof. Dr. Maya Dougoud, GEM Switzerland Team Lead, and Dr. Viktoriia Apalkova, GEM Switzerland Team Member — both academics at the School of Management Fribourg (HEG-FR/HES-SO). Their participation reflects Switzerland’s ongoing commitment to the global GEM network and to advancing entrepreneurship research and policy dialogue.
The event brought together researchers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, journalists, and members of the international GEM community for research seminars, workshops, strategic discussions, and the official launch of the 2025/26 GEM Global Report.
The GEM Global Report launch continues its tradition of rotating among leading international host locations, including Bilbao (2025), Morocco (2024), Switzerland (2023) at the School of Management Fribourg, and Dubai (2022) during Expo 2020.
GEM Switzerland is pleased to continue contributing to this global initiative and to strengthening international collaboration in entrepreneurship research.
